Atlantic house lies in the in the hamlet of Roag, 2 miles from Dunvegan and its famous castle. This large four bedroom bungalow sits on a four acre croft which runs from the front garden down to the sea shore. The house sits in a commanding position above Loch Bracadale with spectacular views of the sea and of the mountains from both the front and the rear. Enjoy the special atmosphere when watching the sun rise over the Black Cullins or setting by Macleod's Tables - sights that will stay with you forever.
Sleeping up to 8 persons, the house has 3 double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, plus a cot if required. There is a large kitchen/diner and a lounge which has an open fire, a large patio window opening onto a spacious vernanda and Sky TV/DVD. The house has a bathroom with a jacuzzi bath/massage shower and a shower room with large low profile shower tray. The whole house is newly decorated and furnished and all rooms including kitchen and living room have superb sea and mountain views.
A high quality German kitchen with intergrated appliances has just been fitted. There is a utility room with washing machine, dishwasher and tumble dryer. Both front and rear gardens are private and sunny. In the integral garage guests will find a range of leisure equipment including a rubber dinghy with oars/ outboard motor and life jackets, mountain bikes, fishing rods, kites and bat/ ball/ rackets and darts board. The house is wi-fi enabled.
All heating, electricity, fuel, firewood, linen, towels and consumables are provided and included in the cost of rental. The house is rented all year round and short out of season breaks are available. Change over is Saturday. Check in 4PM. Check out 10.30 AM. Sorry, we do not allow pets or smoking.
The hamlet of Roag is on a quiet loop road which is ideal for safe walking and cycling. Roag has a resident herd of highland cattle. Nearby Dunvegan has grocery shops, newsagents, a petrol station, post office, medical centre and restaurants/pubs. The surrounding area offers almost every outdoor pursuit available, as well as stunning scenery and a fascinating history. Wild life abounds with red deer and sea eagles being regular visitors. Atlantic house makes an idyllic base from which to explore the magnificent Isle of skye, and the stunning views will provide holiday memories that will long be cherished.
